Hope for Insomnia and Sleep Deprivation with Dr Adam Fields

Hope for Insomnia

and Sleep Deprivation

Insomnia can have a host of causes and to show correlation among all causes would be impossible.  However, I will say that better sleep has been one of the most talked about benefits of Endonasal Cranial Adjusting in my office.

One major cause of insomnia is stress.  Maybe a better way to look at it is rather the body/mind’s ability to handle stress and still get a good night sleep.  Is the body able to regulate adrenal levels, cortisol levels, melatonin secretion?

Endonasal Cranial Adjusting focuses on the sphenoid bone of the skull.  During the pre-adjustment therapy you will have an area around your temples massaged where the sphenoid bone is accessible.  When the endonasal balloon is inflated Dr Fields can have the balloon push just beyond the nose and tap your sphenoid bone. The sphenoid sinus is an air-filled, mucous-lined cavity in the skull located behind the nose and between the eyes.  The pituitary gland is the “master gland” of the body and is located on top of the sphenoid sinus.  When adjusting the sphenoid bone, pressure can be taken off of the pituitary gland and glandular function can improve.

A vast amount of the greater than 3000 people who have come to my office for endonasal cranial adjusting have reported improvement in sleep quality and duration.  This has sometimes happened  without even knowing the exact mechanism for the betterment of insomnia beyond the adjustment itself.

“For over 3 years I was only sleeping for 4 to 6 hours per night and Sleeping great with cranial adjustments from Dr Fields. No more insomnia!it was always restless.  After my first cranial adjustment I instantaneously began to sleep better.  I slipped into a deeper 7 hour sleep.  Along with that, the connection between the fast thoughts that come into my mind and the words that come out of my mouth is seamless and synching seamlessly.  Dr Fields’ cranial adjustments are amazing.”                                                                                                                                           Kyle Borchers – San Jose, CA
